Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with "Uniform requirements for Manuscripts submitted to Biomedical Journal" developed by International Committee of Medical Journal Editors.
Types of Manuscripts and Limits
Original articles:
Up to 3000 words excluding references and abstract.
Clinical reports:
Up to 1000 words excluding references and abstract and up to 10 references. Online Submission of the Manuscripts
Review Articles:
Up to 3000 words excluding references and abstract.

All manuscripts must be submitted on-line through the website http://www.journalonweb.com/urjd. First time users will have to register at this site. Registration is free but mandatory. Registered authors can keep track of their articles after logging into the site using their user name and password. If you experience any problems, please contact the editorial office by e-mail at editor [AT] urjd . org
Please note you are required to submit the following four attachments with the same names as cited below :
1. Title
2. Blinded Manuscript
3. Images
4. Copyright transfer form
1. Title File: Prepare a covering letter addressed to the Editor, URJD.
-
The title page should carry Type of manuscript (e.g. Original article, Case Report or Review Article)
-
The title of the article, which should be concise, but informative; Running title or short title not more than 50 characters;
-
The name by which each contributor is known (Last name, First name and initials of middle name), with his or her highest academic degree(s) and institutional affiliation;
-
The name of the department(s) and institution(s) to which the work should be attributed;
-
The name, address, phone numbers, fax numbers and e-mail address of the contributor responsible for correspondence about the manuscript;
-
The total number of pages, total number of photographs and word counts separately for abstract and for the text (excluding the references and abstract);
-
Source(s) of support in the form of grants, equipment, drugs, or all of these;
-
Acknowledgement, if any; and
-
If the manuscript was presented as part at a meeting, the organization, place, and exact date on which it was read.

2. Blinded Manuscript /Article file:
This file should contain the main text of the article, beginning from
1. the title ,
2. the abstract,
3. key words,
4. main text ( including tables, graphs and Charts)
5. References
Abstract:
An abstract (of no more than 150 words for case reports, brief reports and 250 words for original articles). The abstract should be structured and state the Context (Background), Aims, Settings and Design, Methods and Material, Statistical analysis used, Results and Conclusions.
Key words:
Below the abstract please provide 3 to 10.keywords
Main Text: The text of observational and experimental articles should be divided into sections with the headings: Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, References, Tables, Figures, Figure legends, and Acknowledgment. Do not make subheadings in these sections.
References
References should be numbered consecutively in the order in which they are first mentioned in the text (not in alphabetic order). Identify references in text, tables, and legends by Arabic numerals in square bracket (e.g. [10]). Please refer to ICMJE Guidelines (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/bsd/uniform_requirements.html) for more examples. Standard journal article:
Roberts JF, Sharif M. The fate and survival of amalgams and preformed crown molar restorations placed in specialist pediatric dental practice, Br. Dent J 1990; 169:237-44 List the first six contributors followed by et al.
Chapter in a book: McDonald RE, Avery DR, Weddell JA. Gingivitis and periodontal disease. In: McDonald RE, Avery DR, editors. Dentistry for the Child and adolescent. 5th ed. St. Louis: The C.V. Mosby Company; 1989. p. 466-78 Do not include any information (such as acknowledgement, your names in page headers, etc.) in this file.
Use text/doc files. Do not zip the files. Do not incorporate images in the file.
3. Images: Submit good quality color images. Each image should be less than 400 kb in size. Size of the image can be reduced by decreasing the actual height and width of the images (keep up to 1200x1600 pixels). All images have to be incorporated in a document or text file along with their legends and submitted as only one text or document file attachment.
4. Copyright transfer form:
to be modified as applicable and one singed copy scanned to be attached online only.

While submitting a revised manuscript, contributors are requested to make all changes requested and also explanations with the point to point clarification to each comment / change (WHERE AND HOW WILL THIS HAPPEN ) The authors will have to again attach all the four files namely, 1. Title
